Work-for-Hire Writing Assignments with author Annette Whipple

Get published! If you enjoy writing about new topics, both fiction and nonfiction, consider writing for the educational market. Participants will learn about this market and how to approach publishers with a work-for-hire package. Get publishing experience with books and other resources for children (K-12) without the slush pile.
A limited number of written critiques are available.
AFTER THE WEBINAR, participants will have one month to prepare a Work-For-Hire sample and cover letter as discussed in the presentation.
CRITIQUES: (at additional cost of $50) Annette will ONLY be critiquing Work-For-Hire Samples as discussed in the webinar. Submissions are due on or before Monday, October 18, 2021. And will be returned by Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Submission specs: Send one write-for-hire sample up to 6 pages including the cover letter. (Include both the sample and the cover letter in the same document; please don’t send two documents.) Format your work in 12 point font, with one-inch margins, and double spacing.
