Lee is a picture book author/illustrator best known for his whimsical illustrations for the Turkey Trouble and Woolbur series. His publishers include Two Lions, HarperCollins, Simon Schuster, and Scholastics. Currently, Lee is illustrating the 5th and 6th books in the Turkey Trouble series.







Agent, Christy Ewers, The CAT Agency

Christy Ewers is the owner of The CAT Agency, where she represents illustrators and author/illustrators in the children’s market. Christy took over the agency from her mother, Chris Tugeau, who founded it in 1994. The CAT Agency is a boutique agency that believes in the hands-on approach in representing a diverse group of talent from all over the world. Christy works closely with the entire “family” of artists, spearheading promotion and deals for CAT Agency illustrators, as well as working closely with the authors in the group to help craft their stories and hone their writing for young readers. Editor, Katie Heit, Scholastic


Katie Heit is a picture book editor at Scholastic. She primarily edits nonfiction up to age 10, as well as select fiction picture book titles. She works with many nonfiction authors, including Sandra Markle, Dean Robbins, and Nick Seluk, among others. She is draw to books that approach educational topics in a unique, kid-friendly way and is especially on the lookout for nature and STEAM topics.





Art Director, Andrea Miller, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books for Young Readers

Andrea Miller is a Senior Designer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books for Young Readers, splitting her time between her home in Philadelphia and the office in Manhattan. Her work ranges from picture books and nonfiction to middle grade and YA novels. In addition, she has a special focus on graphic novels, helping to start HMH’s specialized imprint, Etch. She has a background in illustration, and enjoys working on her own comics with her partner when she isn’t otherwise preoccupied with their cat.
